See what CAN be done with CANS at a cool new exhibit on the first floor of the Merchandise Mart in Chicago.
CANstruction 2010 is an exhibit of 15 colossal structures made entirely out of cans by local architects, construction companies and engineers.
About 70,000 cans of food were used to create the masterpieces for this 4th annual design competition; all those canned goods will be donated to the Greater Chicago Food Depository to help in the fight against hunger.
The event is free, but the Food Depository asks that you bring a canned food donation to the exhibit and drop it in one of the Food Depository Food Drive barrels in the lobby of the Merchandise Mart.
