There’s a cool event Wednesday at Gallery 233 in Chicago; a party where you will be able to see the newest, hottest gadgets out there while scoring a bunch of free giveaways.
gdgt Live in Chicago promises to have many of the best technology companies on hand — including Microsoft, Belkin, Boxee, HTC, Logitech, ABT, DivX, Groupon and D-Link— showing off their newest gadgets that are just coming out or have yet to be unveiled.
The event is free, open to the public and for all ages. The first few hundred arrivals will get a free gdgt t-shirt or iPhone case, plus there will be giveaways from the sponsors and a chance to win some serious stuff. Drinks are on the house for those over 21.
gdgt is a social network for gadget lovers created by Peter Rojas and Ryan Block, the guys who founded Gizmodo and Engadget, the world’s two most popular gadget blogs.
