Celebrate the 100th Year of Wrigley Field

Wrigley GeneralIf you’re a diehard Cubs fan, you now have a chance to design a logo that will become part of Wrigley Field History.
The legendary ballpark is turning 100 in 2014, and is inviting its fans to help create a commemorative logo. The best part of the contest is that it’s open to everyone—you don’t have to be a graphic designer, just a die-hard fan with a lot of spark and creativity. Fans will be able to upload their designs via the web, and finalists will go live on the site in April with the winner revealed at a Cubs home game sometime this summer.
The Cubs will consider using the winning logo on a variety of memorabilia, merchandise and even the team’s 2014 uniforms.
So, in addition to recognition from thousands of fans, what else will the lucky logo winner receive? The winner will receive a trip for two to Chicago, two tickets to a game, a personalized 2014 jersey and will be honored during a logo celebration event.
To find out if your logo has what it takes, visit the Cubs MLB website. There is no charge for entries, and logo designs will be accepted until February 28.
The Cubs 2013 season kicks off on April 8 when they play against the Milwaukee Brewers.
